Student performance is assessed continuously throughout the preparatory program. Students day-to-day performance and progress are assessed in order to enable the instrcutors to identify needs and respond to them in time. Continous assessment also aims to raise students awareness of their learning process and be able to learn how to learn better through the on-going feedback they receive from their instructors.

Assessment components are:

  • Quizzes, >
  • Learning Portfolio, >
  • Homework assignments, projects, writing tasks>
  • Attendance and participation>
  • Achievement Test (AT) >
    >
In order to successfully complete a course, students are expected to achieve 60 % and above from their overall performance score out of 100 %. The 60 % of this overall grade consists of students’ in-class participation and assessment grades (listed above). The 40 % comes from the AT result from which students are expected to get a minimum of 50 out of a 100 in numerical grade. >
